This 500m box of CAT6 cable is rated to 250MHz and supports Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres.
Stranded copper cores keep it flexible, so it is the cable to use for making up your own patch leads with crimp plugs made for stranded wire. It uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need.
It has a PVC sheath for general indoor use.
Plan each permanent link at no more than 90 metres, leaving room for patch leads within the 100 metre Ethernet channel.
