Built on laser-optimised 50/125 multimode fibre, rated for 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 metres, this 2m ST to SC duplex lead comes ready to patch.
One end is ST (round bayonet twist-lock, found on older installs) and the other is SC (square push-pull, common on panels and media converters), so it bridges equipment with different connector types. Being duplex, it has two fibres (transmit and receive) joined side by side.
It is for multimode optics such as SR and SX modules, and should match the fibre grade of the rest of the link. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres. Jacket colour is aqua, the usual colour for OM3.
At 2m it is long enough to patch across a rack or to the next one.
