Buying in bulk? This pack contains 100 CAT6 U/UTP leads in red, all 3m long, so a whole patch panel can be finished with matching cables.
Each one is a CAT6 lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 250MHz for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. A flexible PVC sheath keeps it easy to handle and route. 24 AWG conductors are the heavier gauge, giving lower resistance on longer leads and with PoE devices. Moulded boots support the cable where it meets the plug, reducing strain on the conductors.
Choosing red leads for one job (cameras, phones or uplinks, say) makes faults quicker to trace later.
