Buying in bulk? This pack contains 100 CAT6 U/UTP leads in black, all 0.5m long, so a whole patch panel can be finished with matching cables.
Each one is a CAT6 lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 250MHz for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. The PVC jacket is soft and flexible, easy to route around furniture and equipment. Its 24 AWG copper cores are thicker than the 26 AWG found in many patch leads, which helps with longer runs and powered devices. Moulded boots support the cable where it meets the plug, reducing strain on the conductors.
Choosing black leads for one job (cameras, phones or uplinks, say) makes faults quicker to trace later.
