Buying in bulk? This pack contains 50 CAT6 U/UTP leads in violet, all 5m long, so a whole patch panel can be finished with matching cables.
Each one is a CAT6 lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 250MHz for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. The PVC jacket is soft and flexible, easy to route around furniture and equipment. Its 24 AWG copper cores are thicker than the 26 AWG found in many patch leads, which helps with longer runs and powered devices. The plugs have moulded strain-relief boots for a firm, long-lasting joint.
Violet is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
