OM1 is 62.5/125 multimode fibre, found in older installations and suited to Gigabit links of a few hundred metres. This 2m duplex patch lead joins ST ports to ST ports.
Both ends are ST (round bayonet twist-lock, found on older installs). Duplex means two fibres in one lead, one for each direction of traffic.
It is for multimode optics such as SR and SX modules, and should match the fibre grade of the rest of the link. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres. Jacket colour is orange, the usual colour for OM1.
At 2m it is long enough to patch across a rack or to the next one.
