A pack of 10 identical 0.5m grey CAT6A patch leads, 0.5m each, for fitting out a cabinet, an office floor or a batch of installs in one go.
Each one is a CAT6A lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 500MHz for 10GBASE-T across a full 100 metre channel.
The cable uses a braided outer screen plus foil around every pair (S/FTP), the heaviest screening used on copper patch leads. For the screen to do its job, pair it with shielded panels, keystones and switch ports. The sheath is LSZH, meaning it produces little smoke and no halogen gases in a fire; many commercial and public buildings ask for it. 26 AWG conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible than a 24 AWG cable. Snagless boots shield the RJ45 clip, so it will not catch when a lead is pulled through a bundle or snap off in use.
Grey is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
