A pack of 10 identical 0.5m green CAT6A patch leads, 0.5m each, for fitting out a cabinet, an office floor or a batch of installs in one go.
Each one is a CAT6A lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 500MHz for 10GBASE-T across a full 100 metre channel.
The cable uses a braided outer screen plus foil around every pair (S/FTP), the heaviest screening used on copper patch leads. For the screen to do its job, pair it with shielded panels, keystones and switch ports. Its LSZH sheath (low smoke zero halogen) limits smoke and toxic fumes if there is a fire, and is often a requirement in offices, schools and hospitals. Using 26 AWG copper makes it a little thinner and easier to dress neatly than heavier-gauge leads. The RJ45 latch is protected by snagless boots, which stop it hooking on other cables or breaking.
Green is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
