Buying in bulk? This pack contains 10 CAT6A S/FTP leads in blue, all 1m long, so a whole patch panel can be finished with matching cables.
Each one is a CAT6A lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 500MHz for 10GBASE-T across a full 100 metre channel.
The cable uses a braided outer screen plus foil around every pair (S/FTP), the heaviest screening used on copper patch leads. Screened leads work best when the switch ports and patch panel are screened as well. The sheath is LSZH, meaning it produces little smoke and no halogen gases in a fire; many commercial and public buildings ask for it. 26 AWG conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible than a 24 AWG cable. The RJ45 latch is protected by snagless boots, which stop it hooking on other cables or breaking.
Choosing blue leads for one job (cameras, phones or uplinks, say) makes faults quicker to trace later.
