Buying in bulk? This pack contains 10 CAT6A S/FTP leads in blue, all 3m long, so a whole patch panel can be finished with matching cables.
Each one is a CAT6A lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 500MHz for 10GBASE-T across a full 100 metre channel.
The cable uses a braided outer screen plus foil around every pair (S/FTP), the heaviest screening used on copper patch leads. Screened leads work best when the switch ports and patch panel are screened as well. Its LSZH sheath (low smoke zero halogen) limits smoke and toxic fumes if there is a fire, and is often a requirement in offices, schools and hospitals. Using 26 AWG copper makes it a little thinner and easier to dress neatly than heavier-gauge leads. Snagless boots shield the RJ45 clip, so it will not catch when a lead is pulled through a bundle or snap off in use.
Blue is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
