This 10m CAT5e patch lead from Nimbus is rated to 100MHz and handles Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres. For everyday home and office networking that is all the speed you need.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. The PVC jacket is soft and flexible, easy to route around furniture and equipment. 26 AWG conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible than a 24 AWG cable. The plugs have moulded strain-relief boots for a firm, long-lasting joint.
At this length it can link rooms, reach a loft or garage office, or connect a distant access point back to the switch. In a crowded patch panel, a orange lead stands out at a glance.
