Built on 9/125 single mode fibre, used for long links between buildings and across sites, over distances measured in kilometres, this 2m FC to LC duplex lead comes ready to patch.
One end is FC (screw-on, used on test gear and some telecoms kit) and the other is LC (small push-and-latch, used on SFP modules and dense panels), so it bridges equipment with different connector types. Duplex means two fibres in one lead, one for each direction of traffic.
Use it only with single mode (OS1/OS2) transceivers and panels; it will not work with multimode optics. The ferrules have a UPC polish. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres. Jacket colour is yellow, the usual colour for OS2.
At 2m it is long enough to patch across a rack or to the next one.
