Built on 9/125 single mode fibre, used for long links between buildings and across sites, over distances measured in kilometres, this 3m LC to ST duplex lead comes ready to patch.
One end is LC (small push-and-latch, used on SFP modules and dense panels) and the other is ST (round bayonet twist-lock, found on older installs), so it bridges equipment with different connector types. Being duplex, it has two fibres (transmit and receive) joined side by side.
Use it only with single mode (OS1/OS2) transceivers and panels; it will not work with multimode optics. The ferrules have a UPC polish. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres. Jacket colour is yellow, the usual colour for OS2.
At 3m it is long enough to patch across a rack or to the next one.
