What to know
Stranded cable has conductors made of several fine copper strands, so it bends repeatedly without breaking. It is the cable for making up patch leads with crimped RJ45 plugs, or for short flexible runs between equipment; for fixed runs to outlets, use solid-core cable.
CAT5e carries Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100m channel (up to 90m of installed cable plus patch leads).
See the full range in Bulk Network Cable Reels.
