What to know
A 24-port panel takes 1U in a 19-inch rack; 48-port panels are 1U or 2U. Choose punch down panels to terminate solid installation cable, or feed-through panels if you want to plug patch leads in at both sides.
CAT5e carries Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100m channel (up to 90m of installed cable plus patch leads).
