What to know
A 24-port panel takes 1U in a 19-inch rack; 48-port panels are 1U or 2U. Choose punch down panels to terminate solid installation cable, or feed-through panels if you want to plug patch leads in at both sides.
CAT6 carries Gigabit Ethernet over 100m and 10 Gigabit over shorter channels, up to about 55m.
