Built on 9/125 single mode fibre, used for long links between buildings and across sites, over distances measured in kilometres, this 0.5m LC to SC duplex lead comes ready to patch.
One end is LC (small push-and-latch, used on SFP modules and dense panels) and the other is SC (square push-pull, common on panels and media converters), so it bridges equipment with different connector types. Duplex means two fibres in one lead, one for each direction of traffic.
Use it only with single mode (OS1/OS2) transceivers and panels; it will not work with multimode optics. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres.
At 0.5m it is a short patching length for use inside one rack.
