A pack of 10 identical 2m orange CAT6 patch leads, 2m each, for fitting out a cabinet, an office floor or a batch of installs in one go.
Each one is a CAT6 lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 250MHz for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. An LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) jacket is used, which is what most building specifications now call for indoors. Its 24 AWG copper cores are thicker than the 26 AWG found in many patch leads, which helps with longer runs and powered devices. Snagless boots shield the RJ45 clip, so it will not catch when a lead is pulled through a bundle or snap off in use.
