A pack of 10 identical 0.25m green CAT6 patch leads, 0.25m each, for fitting out a cabinet, an office floor or a batch of installs in one go.
Each one is a CAT6 lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 250MHz for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. The sheath is LSZH, meaning it produces little smoke and no halogen gases in a fire; many commercial and public buildings ask for it. Thin 30 AWG conductors give a slim cable that bends easily and packs densely into busy switches. Slim leads are designed for patching, so keep them to the shorter lengths used inside cabinets and at desks. Snagless boots shield the RJ45 clip, so it will not catch when a lead is pulled through a bundle or snap off in use.
Choosing green leads for one job (cameras, phones or uplinks, say) makes faults quicker to trace later.
