Buying in bulk? This pack contains 10 CAT6 U/UTP leads in green, all 1m long, so a whole patch panel can be finished with matching cables.
Each one is a CAT6 lead with an RJ45 plug at both ends, rated to 250MHz for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. The sheath is LSZH, meaning it produces little smoke and no halogen gases in a fire; many commercial and public buildings ask for it. At 30 AWG the cable is much thinner than a standard lead, freeing up space and airflow in crowded cabinets. Slim leads are designed for patching, so keep them to the shorter lengths used inside cabinets and at desks. Snagless boots shield the RJ45 clip, so it will not catch when a lead is pulled through a bundle or snap off in use.
Green is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
