This 1m OM3 duplex lead uses laser-optimised 50/125 multimode fibre, rated for 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 metres.
One end is ST (round bayonet twist-lock, found on older installs) and the other is SC (square push-pull, common on panels and media converters), so it bridges equipment with different connector types. Duplex means two fibres in one lead, one for each direction of traffic.
It is for multimode optics such as SR and SX modules, and should match the fibre grade of the rest of the link. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres. Jacket colour is aqua, the usual colour for OM3.
At 1m it is a short patching length for use inside one rack.
