OM5 is wideband 50/125 multimode fibre, which works like OM4 and adds support for short-wave multiplexing (SWDM) at higher speeds. This 1m duplex patch lead joins LC ports to LC ports.
Both ends are LC (small push-and-latch, used on SFP modules and dense panels). Duplex means two fibres in one lead, one for each direction of traffic.
It is for multimode optics such as SR and SX modules, and should match the fibre grade of the rest of the link. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres. Jacket colour is lime green, the usual colour for OM5.
At 1m it is a short patching length for use inside one rack.
