A 5m CAT5e Ethernet patch lead rated to 100MHz, good for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres. For everyday home and office networking that is all the speed you need.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. The PVC jacket is soft and flexible, easy to route around furniture and equipment. 26 AWG conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible than a 24 AWG cable. The plugs have moulded strain-relief boots for a firm, long-lasting joint.
Long enough to run from a wall port to a desk across the room, or between cabinets in a comms room. Black is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
