Where to use a brush plate
A brush plate lets cables pass through a wall, desk or trunking while the brushes close around them, hiding the hole and keeping out dust and draughts. They are ideal behind wall-mounted TVs, where HDMI and network cables pass through the wall, and for cable runs into AV and comms cupboards.
The white faceplates fit standard UK single gang (86 x 86mm) and double gang (86 x 145mm) back boxes; choose a black or white brush to suit the room. In a network cabinet, the 1U rack mount brush panel lets patch leads pass through the rack neatly while keeping dust out.
