25 products
Network installation tools: IDC, LSA and impact punch down tools, keystone and field termination tools, RJ45, pass-through, shielded and telephone crimpers, coax crimpers and strippers, cable strippers, insulation tape and network cable testers, everything you need to terminate panels and faceplates, make your own leads and check your wiring.

Choosing network tools
Punch down tools terminate installation cable onto patch panels, faceplate modules and telephone sockets by pressing each core into an IDC terminal. A spring loaded IDC tool trims the excess wire as you punch down, ideal for occasional jobs, and an LSA tool suits Krone-style strips and modules. For larger installations, the adjustable impact punch down tool has high and low pressure settings and a reversible blade for punching with or without cutting.
RJ45 crimpers fit RJ45 plugs to the end of a cable, so you can make patch leads to exactly the length you need from bulk cable. Ratchet crimpers only release once the crimp is complete, and pass-through crimpers trim the conductors flush in the same squeeze. Use plugs designed for your cable, solid or stranded, and add RJ45 boots for a professional finish.
Network cable testers check that each wire is connected to the right pin, so you can find wiring faults, open circuits and crossed pairs before you connect any equipment. Our testers include a remote unit for testing installed cable runs between a patch panel and a wall socket. They are continuity testers that check the wiring, not the speed of the link, and should not be connected to a live network.
