OM4 is 50/125 multimode fibre, rated for 10 Gigabit up to 400m and 40/100 Gigabit up to 150m, for links inside a building or a data centre. This 15m duplex patch lead joins LC ports to LC ports, and is made with a Minizip jacket only 1.8mm across.
That is roughly 40% slimmer than a standard 3.0mm patch lead, so more leads fit in a cable manager, tray or conduit and the front of a busy rack stays clear for airflow.
Both ends are LC (small push-and-latch, used on SFP modules and dense panels). Being duplex, it has two fibres (transmit and receive) joined side by side.
Use it only with multimode (OM3/OM4) transceivers and panels. The jacket is LSZH for indoor use in offices and data centres. Jacket colour is aqua, the usual colour for OM3 and OM4.
