About OM3 ST to LC cables
ST to LC cables connect modern switches and SFP+ modules with LC ports to existing patch panels and equipment with ST bayonet connectors. In OM3 grade they support 10 Gigabit ethernet up to 300m, so you can upgrade your network equipment while keeping an existing ST patch panel.
Check that your existing cabling is 50um fibre before ordering, as OM3 cannot be mixed with 62.5um OM1. For OM1 and OM2, see our LC to ST fibre cables. More help in our fibre optic cable buying guide.
