About OM3 ST to ST cables

ST to ST patch leads connect equipment and patch panels that use the round ST bayonet connector, which twists to lock. In OM3 grade they bring 10 Gigabit performance, up to 300m, to installations built around ST connectors.

OM3 has a 50um core and cannot be mixed with 62.5um OM1, which is common in older ST installations, so check your existing cabling first. For OM1 and OM2, see our ST to ST fibre cables. More help in our fibre optic cable buying guide.
