A 1m CAT6A Ethernet patch lead rated to 500MHz, good for 10GBASE-T across a full 100 metre channel. It is the cable to choose for 10 Gigabit server, storage and uplink connections.
The cable uses foil around each pair and an overall foil layer (F/FTP). For the screen to do its job, pair it with shielded panels, keystones and switch ports. The black PE (polyethylene) outer jacket is made for outdoor use, so the lead can be run along walls, fences and between buildings. The plugs have moulded strain-relief boots for a firm, long-lasting joint.
Handy at a desk or TV cabinet, and long enough to patch across a rack or to the next cabinet along. Black is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
