Choosing an angled network cable
A right angled plug lets the cable turn sharply as it leaves the port, so it sits flat against the device instead of sticking out. That makes angled cables ideal behind wall-mounted TVs, in tight AV and media cabinets, against walls behind desks and routers, and anywhere a straight plug would be bent or strained.
Which way the cable points depends on how the port is mounted. With the latch of the plug facing down, an "up" angled cable points upwards, so check whether the port on your device has its latch at the top or bottom before you choose between the up and down versions. The 90 degree at both ends cables suit tight spaces at each end of the run. For a straight connection at both ends, see our CAT5e full copper patch cables, or call us on 0207 100 6326 if you are not sure which you need.
