A 2m CAT6 Ethernet patch lead rated to 250MHz, good for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 100 metres, with 10GBASE-T possible on shorter links of around 55 metres. That headroom makes it a safe default for new office and home networks.
The cable uses unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP), which is all most homes and offices need. Its LSZH sheath (low smoke zero halogen) limits smoke and toxic fumes if there is a fire, and is often a requirement in offices, schools and hospitals. Thin 32 AWG conductors give a slim cable of roughly 2.8mm that bends easily and packs densely into busy switches. Slim leads are designed for patching, so keep them to the shorter lengths used inside cabinets and at desks.
Typical uses are floor box to laptop dock, router to smart TV, or patching between two adjacent cabinets. Green is one of several colours in the range, so you can colour-code by department, VLAN or device type.
